With over 20 years of designing at an international level, Roberta Garrison Principal Designer of INTERIORS BY ROBERTA, is responsible for creating and executing the concepts that drive each design and overseeing a variety of projects, small to large. 

Roberta is an Award-Winning Interior Designer. As a Professional Member of the American Society of Interior Designers (A.S.I.D.), she is disciplined, organized, and a skilled businessperson.  Roberta has been presented with the National “A.S.I.D. Award of Excellence” for work in both Residential and Commercial categories.

She believes that one´s home should evoke a sense of both serenity and awe, Her goal for every interior is to create a balance between casual and elegance, traditional and contemporary, while always keeping comfort and livability as priority.  Roberta challenges herself to seamlessly blend pieces, be it antiques, contemporary art pieces, comfortable furniture to unique light fixtures into a cohesive living environment.  Her vision very much celebrates the interior elements of the house along with the exterior surroundings of the home.

Opening spaces and optimizing the flow and functionality; creating unique color schemes; and showcasing special elements through architectural lighting  …  all play an important role in creating a remarkable transformation.    Architecturally, the goal is to enhance views and maximize light.  

Roberta Garrison received her Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from the Design Institute of San Diego.  She also received a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications from the University of California at San Diego (U.C.S.D.). Roberta is a Certified Interior Designer nationwide and boasts to successfully having passed the NCIDQ exams (National Council for Interior Design Qualification). 

With such a blend of education, experience, and passionate nature, Roberta attributes her gift of classical taste to her exposure to life in Europe where her family served as Cultural Attachés for many years. 

Roberta strongly believes that a strong Client–Designer relationship is an integral ingredient throughout the project. She relies on the highly qualified members of her Design/Build team.   Her team understands that only the highest standards and quality are acceptable.  Moreover, communication and trust are key.
